  • Summer Camp and John Wooden Center Closures Due to Water Main Break

    Regretfully, due to the water main break on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, all UCLA camp programming including ALL Recreation offerings have been suspended for Wednesday July 30, 2014 while the University assesses general campus safety, resources, and damages.

    The John Wooden Center, Drake Stadium, Intramural Field are closed and all classes/programs are cancelled until further notice.

  • Welcome New Bruins Camps!

    To enhance your New Student Orientation and Welcome Week experiences just add one or more of our outdoor adventures, that include Den CampBruin Transfer Camp, or Wilderness Welcomes. Participation in one of these programs is the perfect way to maximize your New Student Orientation.

  • BHIP for Faculty and Staff

    The Bruin Health Improvement Program (BHIP) is a three-month program, starting August 18, that offers participants intensive lifestyle training in areas of exercise, nutrition, stress management and mental conditioning.— exclusively for UCLA faculty and staff at no cost.

    BHIP.5 is a 12-week weight loss program. This program is appropriate for individuals who are 50 lbs or more overweight and are looking for tailored nutritional guidance and increased physical activity.

    BHIP OnRamp is a comprehensive conditioning program that will improve cardiovascular fitness and overall strength and mobility and appropriate for individuals without current limitations looking to become much more physically active and nutritionally mindful.
