Gifts-in-Kind	You may wish to give UCLA Recreation a personal possession of special interest. The Department receives a wide variety of gifts such as equipment and other items. Planned Giving	Planned gifts are gift arrangements that have specific tax advantages and often include life-time income to a beneficiary or beneficiaries named by the donor. A planned gift maximizes your giving potential and can even allow you to ensure your future financial security or that of a loved one.
Securities	The full-market value of gifts of appreciated securities is tax deductible. In most cases, appreciation in the value of the security benefits UCLA Recreation and is not taxable to donor.
