The Bruin Health Improvement Program (BHIP) is a three-month program—exclusively for UCLA faculty and staff at no cost—offering participants intensive lifestyle training in areas of exercise, nutrition, stress management and mental conditioning. You must be a full-time UCLA faculty or staff to participate.

BHIP ONRAMP

BHIP OnRamp is a comprehensive conditioning program that will improve cardiovascular fitness and overall strength and mobility and appropriate for individuals without current limitations looking to become much more physically active and nutritionally mindful.

Spring/Summer Dates: June 3 - August 23 (no class June 14 and July 5)
Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 6:15am, 7:15am, 11:00am, noon, 5:15pm or 6:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium

BHIP .5
For those that are not ready for BHIP, we are offering our new BHIP.5, which is appropriate for individuals who are 40 lbs or more overweight and are looking for tailored nutritional guidance and increased physical activity.

Spring/Summer Dates: June 3 - August 23 (no class June 14, July 4 and July 5)
Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 11:00am, noon, 5:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)
