UCLA began construction on the Spieker Aquatics Center in July 2008. The Spieker Aquatics Center is the new home for the UCLA varsity men's and women's water polo, swimming and diving teams, and aquatic club sport teams.
This state-of-the-art facility includes a 52-meter by 25-yard all-deep water pool with a bulkhead, allowing competitions to take place at varying distances (meters versus yards). The aquatics center features 3, 5, 7.5, and 10-meter platforms on a diving tower as well as one and three-meter spring boards.
The Spieker Aquatics Center includes locker rooms for both men's and women's teams in addition to permanent seating for spectators. The east side of the venue features a "Champions Wall" which includes the accomplishments of UCLA's past and present aquatics teams in addition to a LED scoreboard.
Recreational Swimming Hours:
This facility is for competitive use only. There is no recreational swimming.
