Learn the basics of kayaking then expand your skills in the open ocean, surf zone and campus pools. Paddling clubs and adventure trips allow you to test your skills while exploring the ocean, lakes and rivers of the West. Our Sea Kayaking program has something for everyone, whether you want to enjoy the splendor of the marine environment, exercise for a few hours or develop new friendships. Expect to get wet!
Our entry level "Sit-On-Top" kayaks are fun and stable, perfect for beginners. There is no prior skill requirement so they are ideal for a group of friends to come down and enjoy a fun afternoon paddle in the marina. UCLA students kayak free with "Sit-On-Top" kayaks during regular rental hours!
