Registration:  FRIDAY, MARCH 29th, 2019 to WEDNESDAY APRIL 17th, 2019.

Events: April 19 & 20, please see the full calendar for timing of each sport.

The weekend will culminate with Grad Bar hosted by the Graduate Students Association on the evening of April 20 on the Ackerman Terrace. We will announce the winner here and have raffle prizes as well!!!

You don't have to be registered to come and watch the events or attend the Grad Bar on Saturday. 

Who:

All UCLA graduate students: Arts and Architecture, Biological Sciences, Dentistry, Education, Engineering, Environment and Sustainability, Humanities, International Institute, Law, Management, Math and Physical Sciences, Medicine, Music, Nursing, Public Affairs, Public Health, Social Sciences, Theater/Film/Television. Teams will need to delegate a single person to be the team captain. Individuals are welcome to sign up as well!

What:
Teams must meet a minimum number of players (indicated below), but more than the minimum is allowed for substitution. You can participate in up to three sports depending on scheduling and availability. Events with overlapping times cannot be combined, but we may be able to coordinate on a case-by-case basis (contact us AHEAD of time for this). Please see the details and schedules for each game below.

Registration is a two-step process.

Step 1: Payment

*Each member of the team must register.

  1. Go directly to Grad Games in the online Recreation store by clicking HERE
  2. Click Sign In, and login with your UCLA logon.
  3. When you return to the Grad Games page, click Register.
  4. Follow the instructions to pay $25 to register - UCLA Recreation accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card.

Step 2: Registration on Google Form

*Each member of the team must fill out the Google Form.

  1. Go to the Google form here:  Google Form
  2. Find the sports (up to three) that you want to register for. 
  3. Set up your team and list your team members as well on the google form.

By the registration desk in front of John Wooden Center. Checking in is required for each event, each day at this location before proceeding to the location of your sporting event! This is where you will get your T-shirt, drinks (courtesy of Coke), daily schedule, and wristband for participation!

Rules and Regulations

Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. We cannot create more teams than time allows games to be played.

Scoring:

Team Sports:

First Place: 8 points

Second Place: 6 points

Third Place: 4 points

Individual Sports:

First Place: 3 points

Second Place: 2 points

Third Place: 1 point

Bracket Set Up:

Brackets will be assigned randomly, but if there are multiple teams from the same school - we will prioritize separating schools to give everyone an equal chance.
