The Bruin Health Improvement Program (BHIP) is a three-month program—exclusively for UCLA faculty and staff at no cost—offering participants intensive lifestyle training in areas of exercise, nutrition, stress management and mental conditioning. You must be a full-time UCLA faculty or staff to participate.

BHIP ONRAMP
BHIP OnRamp is a comprehensive conditioning program that will improve cardiovascular fitness and overall strength and mobility. It is appropriate for individuals without current limitations looking to become much more physically active and nutritionally mindful.

Fall 2014 Session Dates: Aug 18 - Nov 7 (no class 9/1)
Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 6:15am, 7:15am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:15pm, or 6:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium

Fall 14 BHIP Applications are no longer available. Notifications regarding lottery results will go out via email by the end of the day on Friday Aug 8th. Please email Kelly Shedd if you applied but never heard back (kshedd@recreation.ucla.edu).

BHIP.5
BHIP.5 is a 12-week weight loss program. This program is appropriate for individuals who are 50 lbs or more overweight and are looking for tailored nutritional guidance and increased physical activity.

Fall 2014 Session Dates: Aug 18 - Nov 7 (no class 9/1)
Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 7:15am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, and 5:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium

Mobility/Sport Stretch (optional classes)-These classes are optional but extremely beneficial. Feel better and move better-FAST-with these easy to learn self-massage and stretch sequences!
