The Bruin Health Improvement Program (BHIP) is a three-month program—exclusively for UCLA faculty and staff at no cost—offering participants intensive lifestyle training in areas of exercise, nutrition, stress management and mental conditioning. You must be a full-time UCLA faculty or staff to participate.


BHIP ONRAMP
BHIP OnRamp is a comprehensive conditioning program that will improve cardiovascular fitness and overall strength and mobility. It is appropriate for individuals without current limitations looking to become much more physically active and nutritionally mindful.

Winter 2015 Session Dates: January 26 - April 17 (No class February 16 or March 27)
Orientations for those Accepted: Friday, 1/23, 6:15am, 7:15am, 11am, 12n, 4pm, 5:15pm, 6:15pm in the Games Lounge, 2nd floor, John Wooden Center.

Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 6:15am, 7:15am, 11am, 12pm, 4pm, 5:15pm, or 6:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium

THE NEXT BHIP SESSION WILL BEGIN IN AUGUST 2015. APPLICATIONS WILL BE POSTED IN JULY.


BHIP .5
BHIP .5 is a 12-week weight loss program. This program is appropriate for individuals who are 50 lbs or more overweight and are looking for tailored nutritional guidance and increased physical activity.

Winter 2015 Session Dates: January 26 - April 17 (No class February 16 or March 27)
Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 7:15am, 11am, 12pm, and 5:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium
