The Bruin Health Improvement Program (BHIP) is a three-month program—exclusively for UCLA faculty and staff at no cost—offering participants intensive lifestyle training in areas of exercise, nutrition, stress management and mental conditioning. You must be a full-time UCLA faculty or staff to participate.


BHIP ONRAMP
BHIP OnRamp is a comprehensive conditioning program that will improve cardiovascular fitness and overall strength and mobility. It is appropriate for individuals without current limitations looking to become much more physically active and nutritionally mindful.

Fall 2015 Session Dates: August 24 - November 13 (No class Sept 7 & Nov 11)

Application deadline expired August 7. Notifications regarding lottery results were sent via email August 12, 2015.

Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 6:15am, 7:15am, 8:15am, 11am, 12pm, 4pm, 5:15pm, or 6:15pm (classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium

 

BHIP Onramp Class Locations - Fall 2015

Physical Activity
Monday, 8/31 and Wednesday, 9/2 --Drake Stadium

Friday, 9/4--6:15am, 7:15am, 8:15am, 11am, 12n will meet at Drake. The 4pm, 5:15pm and 6:15pm classes will meet in Pardee Gym, 1st floor, John Wooden Center.

 

 

BHIP .5
BHIP .5 is a 12-week weight loss program. This program is appropriate for individuals who are 50 lbs or more overweight and are looking for tailored nutritional guidance and increased physical activity.

Fall 2015 Session Dates:

Time: 1-hour group classes/workouts offered at 7:15am, 11am, 12pm, and 5:15pm (classes meet Monday-Friday, schedule varies)
Location: John Wooden Center and Drake Track Stadium
